EBA held its latest workshop on 8 February 2017, bringing together more than 80 participants to learn more about the contribution of biogas towards European renewable energy policy beyond 2020

Over 35 participants gathered on the 6th of April to learn about the value of organic waste as a secondary raw material, both for the economy and the environment, within Europe’s Circular Economy.

EBA held its latest workshop, "Future of biomethane production – will cross-border trade be feasible?", on 3 September. Around 70 participants joined us in Brussels to discuss the challenges and options of biomethane.

The FABbiogas Final Conference took place in Brussels on 2 September 2015. Participants from all over Europe gathered at the historical Paleis des Academies for an overview of biogas production and potentials of the food and beverages industries.

October 2014. This was the 2nd workshop on digestate organised and held at EBA. 50 participants gathered this time, members, non-members, as well as individuals working in the field of digestate. Speakers included representatives of the member companies and associations, as well as European Commission.

April 2014. EBA workshop on the sustainability of biogas in Brussels

March 2014. The Brussels workshop was organised by three biomethane projects co-funded by Intelligent Energy Europe: GreenGasGrids, Urban Biogas and Biomaster. 150 participants from all over the world heard how to promote biogas production, upgrading to biomethane for injection into the gas grid and use in vehicles and how to overcome the impasse by bringing the key components of the biomethane chain into a joint initiative.

June 2013. Study Tour was organised by EBA in frames of the European Bioenergy Conference. Visited were two biogas plants with organic waste digestion: Biogas plant Joluwa near Nivelles and biogas plant in Quévy-le-Grand.

May 2013. EBA workshop "Revision of Fertiliser Regulation and the End-of-Waste status for digestate" in Brussels.

June 2012. Study tour was organised in frames of the EBA Conference. Participants visited Slovak biogas plant with manure and maize digestion.

June 2012. The first EBA Conference was held in Bratislava (Slovakia). More than 100 participants from all over Europe came to listen to the speaker’s presentations and exchange views on the five major topics of the conference: political framework, technology review, business environment, financing biogas projects and biogas as an important pillar of the European energy future.
